Salut, mes amis!
Ahhhh Kansas. |
Wow. Not starting off so great with this blog, huh? Thursday got away from me, I will admit. Combination of sleeping in too late (don't look at me like that - it's still summer!), movie, working, and rehearsal. Kind of been a lot of that this week - work and rehearsal that is. I have a show opening next weekend, so there's a lot of rehearsing happening. Afraid it makes for not a whole lot of interesting things to talk about.
I will however talk about my show, because if you're in the Kansas City area, you should come check it out! It's called You Can't Stop the Beat!: Rock on Broadway and it will be at the Barn Players August 16, 17, 18. It's the benefit concert for the Barn, so on Saturday there will be a silent auction and dinner in order to raise money. The show features songs from shows like American Idiot, Aida, The Wedding Singer, next to normal, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, Bring it On, and more. It's just genuinely a good time - if you can come I promise you won't be disappointed! For more information and to purchase tickets, click here!
Other things that happened this week:
- Went swimming
- Saw "We're the Millers"
- Hung out with my little cousin
Hopefully next week will be a little more eventful and I'll remember to actually keep to my schedule!
Thanks for reading, dear reader!
À plus!
